Bluebird Counseling Services began in 2022 with a simple mission: to provide compassionate, skill-based therapy for individuals navigating life’s most demanding seasons.
Today, we are a boutique group practice specializing in supporting high-functioning teens and adults facing burnout, performance pressure, and major life transitions. Our clients often appear “put together” on the outside — but feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck internally.
As our practice grows, we are seeking licensed and pre-licensed clinicians in Illinois who are passionate about delivering evidence-based, relational care within a collaborative and supportive team.
We are especially interested in clinicians who are eager to develop or deepen a specialty in areas such as:
• Trauma and nervous system regulation
• High-performance stress and anxiety
• Adolescent and college transitions
• Executive functioning and perfectionism
• Relationship and life transitions/couples
Bluebird offers flexible telehealth opportunities, a steady referral stream, administrative support, and a culture grounded in professionalism, warmth, and growth.
We are not looking to build a “treat everything” practice. We are building a thoughtful, specialized team of clinicians who value depth, integrity, and meaningful client relationships.

Who We’re Looking For
We’re hiring part-time licensed or pre-licensed clinicians who embody Bluebird’s core values: compassion, curiosity, collaboration, and authenticity.
Candidates must:
Hold or be eligible for an Illinois license (LPC/LCPC, LSW/LCSW, MFT/LMFT).
Have 2+ years of experience in the mental health field.
Be trained in or open to working through a holistic, trauma-informed, and multi-systemic lens.
Be paneled or willing to be paneled with BCBS PPO, Aetna PPO, Cigna/Evernorth, and United Healthcare/Optum.
Ideal candidates are:
Kind-hearted and drama-averse.
Passionate about therapy and lifelong learning.
Open-minded, flexible, and eager to collaborate.
Ready to be treated like the professional you are — with trust, respect, and autonomy.
